Previewing Items and Tests

You can preview your items and tests to see how they will appear to students in the Test Administration Site. You can also preview standards publications to see their structure and find the keys for individual standards that you may want to align to items or use to filter the Items or Tests tab.

  1. To preview content, open the appropriate content tab and apply filters, if necessary. Then do either of the following:

    • To preview an individual item or test, select Preview from the dotted menu to the left of the item or test.
    • To preview multiple items at once, select the checkbox for each item and then click Preview at the top of the Items tab.

  2. If an item is available in multiple languages, select a language option from the pop-up that appears.

  3. Optional: You can enter responses for machine-scored items and click Item Score to verify the item is being scored accurately. A window pops up, indicating which answer key matches the entered response.

    • You can click expand on the left side of the preview window to view the properties for each item.
